Happy New Year everyone! After the madness of Christmas, it feels like a cold plunge to be dropped suddenly into a new year, but here we are!
I have lots of news to share with you this quarter, especially for Making Goode: change is in the air. And much has happened since I was last in contact, so I’ll be sharing that too. It has been an action-packed period, and the busyness shows no sign of stopping any time soon ... 2024 promises to be a lively year!
Last year was tough, the economic climate really began to bite, but my advice toeveryone is to keep getting in front of customers, whether it be at craft shows, markets, trade fairs or on social media. Be seen. Keep showing everyone how good you are, and you’ll safely navigate these choppy waters. It is those who pull away from events that will, ultimately, steer the hardest course until stability is restored.
Don’t forget, I am always here to help, whether it be via the events for which I curate, my talks or my coaching. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you need assistance. (Oh, and don’t forget to check out this quarter's Maker Opportunities, which include places to sell work and excellent business workshops).
We all know the waters are turbulent at present, but together we can ensure we’re waving, not drowning!
Wishing you all a happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year,
Dan
