Benefits for Makers
“Without change, something sleeps inside us, and seldom awakens. The sleeper must awaken.”
Frank Herbert
Benefits for Makers
The benefits for makers are manifold. My processes are designed to promote the following:
-
Being heard
-
Saving money
-
Saving time
-
Consistency of message (across all areas of a maker’s business)
-
Increased confidence
-
Increased focus
-
The ability to identify specific customers
Benefits for your customer
“The [person] who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.”
Confucius
The benefits for your customer are similarly rich. My processes promote:
-
Connection
-
Trust
-
Understanding
When a maker shares what inspires and moves them, it allows someone encountering their work to say, “I understand, I feel that too”. This is the “sepia to Technicolor” quality I spoke of earlier. When a customer identifies with a maker on an emotional, and inspirational, level this is when the magic happens.
It is this magic, together, that we are seeking.
A Promise
It is my commitment to those whom I coach and mentor that if I don’t know how to help a maker through a particular issue, I will suggest an expert or organisation who can.
My years in the making industry, and beyond, have proffered a rich resource of extraordinary minds to whom I can turn to help makers. Whether it be through coaching, curation, talks, judging or writing, my mission is to be respectful of the resources of others, and my own, at all times. If I am not the right avenue to help a creative person, then it is imperative they go somewhere that is.
